Laminating Machines

Laminating machines seal a document, photograph or printed sheet inside a thin plastic film, protecting it from moisture, handling and fading. Cold laminating uses pressure-sensitive film without heat, which suits heat-sensitive prints. Hot laminating uses heated rollers to bond thermal film, which suits everyday documents and photographs. Pouch laminators seal single documents inside pre-cut pouches, while roll laminators feed film from rolls for larger or continuous work.

The company website lists 28 laminating machines. Four of them have published specification values and their own pages: the 358 single- and double-sided laminator, the FM650 and FM1600 roll laminators, and the electric cold laminator whose specification values are transcribed from a configuration image on its product page. The remaining models are listed by name, because no specification values were published for them.

Buyers usually start from the largest width they laminate, then from whether they need cold, hot or both, and then from speed: a photo studio laminating single prints has different needs from a print centre laminating posters all day. The category pages below break the range down by laminator type.

Models Listed

All 28 laminating machines listed on the company website. Only the 358, FM650, FM1600 and electric cold laminator have published specification values.
